There is one major controversy between God and mankind. This is just one supreme issue which confronts every one of us. The New Testament Epistles are consistently strong in their insistence that the Christian life is to be lived in the power of the Holy Spirit. It is a life which is from above, proceeding from the Throne of God and of the Lamb, brought to us and fulfilled in us by the Executor of the Godhead, the Holy Ghost.

I believe that it is a special manifestation of spiritual concern that has brought you together again this year in the interest of world missions. Surely this is the spiritual outreach of a church that is led by the Spirit of God.
