Humanity likes to hide, and while we may be occasionally successful at hiding from others, we cannot escape from God’s omniscience. God knows everything about us, including our thoughts. Yet, we still try to hide from Him. 

We need to learn to open ourselves up to God like David did. David wanted God to search him and know him. Being honest before the Lord, David ultimately submitted to Him, desiring to be led by Him.
