Humanity is rebellious. In Psalm 2, we see the nations’ desire to rule themselves. But what is God’s response to this? He laughs. God looks with derision upon the fruitless efforts of humanity to oppose Him. He has commissioned His Son to be King—and Jesus will reign, and judge the nations.
