Marks Of A Thriving Church

A Witnessing Church

Erwin W. Lutzer | October 23, 1988

Selected highlights from this sermon

Some have been saved by visiting church and responding to the Gospel message, but many people will never darken the door of a church even when they’re invited. We must go out and pursue the lost, wherever they may be.

In Acts 8, Philip is a perfect example of this. The Word of God bears fruit. It overcomes obstacles and barriers, and though we may not see the results of our sowing, the Word never returns void.
