False teachers say that people need certain good works, in addition to faith in Jesus, in order to be saved. This isn’t anything new. Even the apostle Peter was leading many astray.
In Galatians 2, Paul defends the true Gospel that was revealed from God: humanity can only be saved through trust in Jesus Christ. By faith, we are justified, declared righteous in Jesus.
