Hebrews 6 is one of the most debated Scripture passages of all time. It talks about people who “fall away.” And while we all certainly know people who have left the Christian community, we wonder, “Can a true Christian lose their salvation?” Is that what the book of Hebrews is describing here?
No. Hebrews implores Christians to not become fruitless by becoming backslidden and disobedient. We are encouraged to press on and hold fast to Christ, the anchor of our souls.
