Building God's Way

Celebrating While Building

Dr. Erwin W. Lutzer | February 2, 1992

Selected highlights from this sermon

The obstacles to the rebuilding of Jerusalem’s walls kept piling up. There were thinly-veiled attempts to harm Nehemiah; even a corrupt priest sought to deceive Nehemiah into violating the Temple and the Law. Due to Nehemiah’s discernment, he avoided the problems and ultimately the wall and gates were completed—with all of the praise going to God.
