One of Satan’s favorite tactics is to whisper to Christians, “See, you sinned! You’re not worthy to get into heaven!”

 

The truth Satan hides when he does this is that believers don’t stand on their own records. They stand on the merits of Jesus. This allows us to deal with the guilt that often paralyzes us. Knowing our place in Christ means we can tell Satan to get lost.
