He Was Not of This World Part 2
December 26, 2016
Part 2 of 2
Most people like the lights, the decorations and the gifts. The majority of our culture is caught up in the festivities that surround this winter season. So why do believers celebrate Christmas? We may like lights and gifts, but we celebrate because Jesus renounced the glories of heaven to fulfill the Father’s will. He became a man and died for a sinful human race.
History is divided into two parts: before Christ and after Christ. Even our calendars reflect this. The coming of Jesus to Earth was the hing on which the door of history swung. He transformed the world by offering redemption to us—He was the only person who ever left the world fundamentally changed. And He continues to change it one heart at a time.
