Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and the living creatures and the elders the voice of many angels, numbering myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!” Revelation 5:11–12

Yes, He is worthy of all this. Heaven cannot speak too well of Him. Oh that Earth would take up the echo, and join with heaven in singing, “WORTHY to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing!”
ERWIN LUTZER
Jesus made it clear to the woman at the well that the Father was seeking worshipers, and since He could not find them among the smug religious leaders of the day, He was looking for volunteers among the unsung and unknown people of the world. “The hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him” (John 4:23). In other words, the best way to prepare for heaven is to become a worshiper on Earth.
Interestingly, in heaven, we will sing remembering not the birth of Jesus, nor the miracles of Jesus, but rather “the Lamb who was slain.” Throughout all of eternity, we will remember Jesus as Redeemer, as the One who died a death He didn’t deserve to give us what we didn’t deserve. In heaven, Jesus is described as a Lamb “as though it had been slain” (Revelation 5:6). The nail prints He had on Earth will be scars in heaven; healing will have occurred but the remembrance of His death
will remain. It may be the only reminder of sin in heaven.
Let us prepare for heaven and sing, “Worthy is the lamb who was slain!”
