Summary
We often are tempted to believe the lie that God must not love us, especially when we have unfulfilled desires. Some people think that God always leads His children in easy pathways of blessing when in reality, God often leads His people into the wilderness. That was the case with Jesus, who fasted for forty days only to then face the onslaught of Satan’s attacks, all while in the center of God’s loving will. How does Jesus’ temptation prepare us for what we face?
