The Mount Of Olives

This morning we were able to visit the Temple Mount where two great Muslim shrines have been standing for many centuries (the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa mosque). From there we took the above picture of the Mount of Olives; the very place where Jesus will someday return. The Mount will split toward the north and toward the south, and there will be other topographical changes (please read Zechariah 14:1-4).  The return of Jesus will be spectacular, worldwide, and completely victorious. The false standards and false estimates of men shall be swept away. The standards of “expediency,” of “conscience,” of “every man thinking as he likes, if he is only sincere”—these, and all similar refuges of lies shall be like a spider’s web. The measure … Read More >

Quiet Hour - Day 153

Thoughts for the Quiet Hour - June 2 A fountain…for sin and for uncleanness. —Zechariah 13:1 You that have faith in the Fountain, frequent it. Beware of two errors which are very natural and very disastrous. Beware of thinking any sin too great for it; beware of thinking any sin too small. There is not a sin so little, but it may be the germ of everlasting perdition; there is not a sin so enormous, but a drop of atoning blood will wash it away as utterly as if it were drowned in the depths of the sea. —James … Read More >
