Desperate Praying

Summary

It’s been said that there are no atheists in foxholes. Being in mortal danger focuses the mind. Brave men and women in the line of fire know that only by the grace of God will they survive. Sometimes Christians pray without a sense of great need.  In the New Testament, we’re taught to combine prayer and fasting when the subject of our prayers is serious. As the New Year beckons, we’re on the precipice of great need, both in our churches and in our country.
